A young man from California, 18, was the victim of a strong armed robbery on the 100 block of Langdon Street early Sunday morning.
According to Madison police, the victim was walking along Langdon Street at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning when a red SUV slowly approached him. Two suspects—one female, one male—emerged from the vehicle, implied they had a weapon and demanded money.
After the suspects took the money, they drove off and the victim reportedly escaped without injury. Police described one suspect as a black male in his mid-30s and 5'6\. The other suspect is listed as a white female in her mid-20s, 5'8"" with blond hair. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
