Wis. DNR worker tells of potential Bigfoot encounter

A Washington County man allegedly witnessed what many in the media are labeling Bigfoot in the early morning hours of Nov. 9.

Steven Krueger, a Department of Natural Resources employee who pulls dead deer off of state highways, filed a report indicating he saw a black creature seven feet tall and very wide that pulled a dead doe off the back of his pickup truck as he was in his vehicle filling out paperwork. Krueger was on the side of Highway 167 near West Bend.

Startled, Krueger started his truck and sped away, leaving the deer and an all-terrain vehicle ramp behind.

Though Krueger denied calling the creature Bigfoot in GM Today Sunday, local media has latched onto the legend.

Krueger told the paper the creature was not a black bear.
