The UW-Madison School of Business added two more alumni to its collection of Distinguished Business Alumnus Award winners Friday—fewer than 75 alumni have received the award in the School's 106-year history.
Phill Gross and Paul Leff both received bachelor's degrees in finance and economics and master's degrees in finance through the School of Business, going on to lead money-management firms based in Boston and New York, respectively.
Gross and Leff are heavily involved with the UW-Madison campus today, as both are members serving on the UW Foundation board and members of the School of Business' Applied Security Analysis Advisory Board.
Gross has also served on the Chancellor's Board of Advisers and the School of Business' Applied Corporate Finance advisory board. Leff directs the Wisconsin Eastern Alumni Scholarship Fund based in New York, and advises UW-Madison School of Business students and graduates with Wall Street aspirations.
