The Associated Students of Madison Student Services Finance Committee decided on the 2007-'08 budgets for Sex Out Loud and the Rape Crisis Center Thursday night.
Sex Out Loud saw an $8,871 cut from its proposed budget after members cut $1,500 from a miscellaneous line item, $500 from print advertising and other amounts from areas the members said they felt would be fiscally irresponsible to fund.
Its proposed 2007-'08 budget was $97,420; the SSFC's final budget decision for the organization was $88,549.
The Rape Crisis Center was funded in full at $49,750. ASM Finance Chair Sree Atluru said she thought the RCC had a ""very well put-together budget.""
The committee also heard budget proposals from the Multicultural Student Coalition and Vets for Vets.
MCSC requested a budget of $419,315.25 for the 2007-'08 academic year. It has $375,993 for the 2006-'07 academic year.
Vets for Vets, represented by UW-Madison senior Liz O'Herrin, requested $40,714.
