Police responded to an altercation involving 30-50 people Tuesday night on the 2300 block of Allied Dr., according to a Madison Police Department release.
Officers arriving on the scene noted the large crowd and unsuccessfully attempted to disperse it with lights and a siren. At the center of the crowd, 18-year-old Tenesha Spinks and 28-year-old Cassandra Baker were actively fighting.
The crowd surrounded and taunted the officers as they attempted to make arrests.
According to the release, the officers learned the disturbance started with falsehoods about a male.""
