The UW Athletics Ticket Office has implemented a waiting list for men's basketball courtside seats, as the tickets priced $10,000 to $12,500 recently sold out, the Wisconsin State Journal reported Saturday.
Forty-eight seats were available for purchase; five of the purchasing parties purchased four seats each, while 14 other parties reserved two seats each.
There were 19 purchasing parties total, and UW-Madison Senior Associate Athletic Director Vince Sweeney refused to release their identities until they have signed their seat contracts for the season.
Eighteen of the 19 parties paid the minimum courtside seat ticket price of $10,000 for a one-year game attendance commitment but one purchasing party paid $12,500 for a three-year commitment.
