New Beer Thursday: Sierra Nevada

Nine Inch Nails, Tom Petty and Wilco will be playing at Summerfest this year—and what better to drink at Summerfest than Sierra Nevada's Summerfest beer? It's about the color of Petty's hair and shares the Americana charm of his music. Like Wilco, this beer has gained a little mainstream attention but still is underground enough to keep its street cred. And like Trent Reznor's trim physique, Summerfest has a full body that's sure to please. 

 

But unlike Nickelback (who is also playing), Summerfest isn't like every other fucking derivative, unoriginal beer out there. Ahem. So this summer, put on American Girl\ and grab a Summerfest.\
