Gov. Doyle bets Wisconsin cheese in Frozen Four

Gov. Jim Doyle and Maine Gov. John Baldacci entered into friendly competition Wednesday waging a bet on their respective teams for the NCAA Men's Hockey semifinal game at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

If the Wisconsin Badgers win, Baldacci will owe Doyle a fresh spread of world famous Atlantic lobster, plus a gallon of Maine milk. To keep up his end of the deal, Doyle put The Wisconsin Farmers' Union Specialty Cheese on the line, which won world's best gorgonzola at the recent World Championship Cheese Contest.

Doyle said he is confident in his Wisconsin Badgers, who are currently ranked first in the USAToday/USA Hockey Magazine.

Wisconsin cheese is unbeatable.\ Governor Doyle said in a statement. ""Unfortunately for Governor Baldacci, so is Wisconsin hockey. I can already taste that lobster.""
