What: The Stinky Cheese Man 

 

 

 

Where: The Overture

The Skinny: The Overture converts one of the greatest books of your childhood, \The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales"" into a play. It's not just for kids; it's for anyone interested in a man made out of stinky cheese. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What: Ill Groove Movement 

 

 

 

Where: The Rathskeller, Memorial Union 

 

 

 

When: Friday, 9:30 p.m. 

 

 

 

How much: Free 

 

 

 

The Skinny: This hip-hop group from Milwaukee peppers their 

 

 

 

music with an eclectic mix of funk, soul, jam-rock and jazz. They've 

 

 

 

rocked Madison in the past, and they'll do it again. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What: Friendship Bracelets at Free Art Fridays 

 

 

 

Where: Memorial Union 

 

 

 

When: Friday, 9 p.m. 

 

 

 

How much: Free 

 

 

 

The Skinny: Did you not get the jewelry you wanted on Valentine's Day? Is that because you don't have an S.O.? Check out this Free Art Friday and know that at least you can be your own friend. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What: The Wonders of Physics 

 

 

 

Where: 2103 Chamberlin Hall 

 

 

 

When: Saturday and Sunday, 1 and 4 p.m. 

 

 

 

How much: Free, but seats are very limited 

 

 

 

The Skinny: UW-Madison Professor Clint Sprott will present his unique physics-related performance, which has spawned traveling shows and videos, for the 23rd straight year. We're talking to you, person who knows nothing about science except for what you learned from watching Bill Nye. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What: Klezmer and Black Gospel 

 

 

 

Where: Wisconsin Union Theater 

 

 

 

When: Saturday, 8 p.m. 

 

 

 

How much: $10 with student ID 

 

 

 

The Skinny: The Klezmatics and Joshua Nelson, in a Nelly-and-Tim McGraw-level unlikely collaboration, bring ""Brother Moses Smote the Water"" to campus. Followed by free refreshments and a dance party with Yid Vicious.
