Wisconsin state representatives unveiled their Spring 2006 Agenda Monday, outlining policy for affordable health care, tax relief, jobs and economic growth.
'We want to put healthcare decisions back in the hands of the Wisconsin families who make them,' Assembly Speaker John Gard, R-Peshtigo, said in a statement Monday. 'We're working on passing reforms that will make strides toward giving Wisconsin a consumer-driven healthcare environment by opening access to healthcare provider cost and quality information.'
Gard said Assembly Republicans will work hard to address the current tax burden.
'Republicans are making progress to reduce the tax burden and ensure that Wisconsin continues to be an affordable place for Wisconsin families,' Gard said.
