The leaders of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin have endorsed former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean as the next chair of the Democratic National Committee, according to a statement released Wednesday.
The state Democratic Party leaders, Chair Linda Honold and First Vice Chair Tim Sullivan, have fallen in line with Democratic leaders from around the country in endorsing Dean, who has emerged as a near for the position.
Dean will be confirmed at the DNC winter meeting in Washington, D.C. Feb. 12.
