Men's, women's track each take three events at Musco Twilight

UW men's and women's track squads were able to each win three events at the Musco Iowa Twilight Saturday at Iowa City, Iowa. 

 

 

 

Freshman Paul Hubbard took the triple-jump with an NCAA Regional qualifying mark of 50'5 ??'. He also anchored the winning 4x100-meter relay with sophomore Levonne Rowan, senior Gustin Smith and junior Jvontai Hanserd to win in 40.92 seconds. Sophomore Joe Conway won the long jump with 23'8'. 

 

 

 

The women's track junior Leslie Patterson won the 5,000 meters in 17:28.15. Sophomore Danielle Ohmen won the high jump at 5'8', which ties her season's best and NCAA Regional qualifying mark.

Wisconsin also won the 4x100 meter relay. The quartet of sophomore Melissa Talbot, freshman Shuntia Lucas, sophomore Erica Schoeller and freshman Venus Washington ran a season's best of 46.18.
