The Vote 2002 Coalition is a non partisan student organization whose primary goals are to register, educate and motivate the student population of UW-Madison to vote in this year's elections. This is an important election cycle for the state of Wisconsin, especially for students, and in order to achieve one of our main goals of registering as many student voters as possible, we need your help.
The process is simple. All you need to do is become \deputized"" by the City Clerk of Madison. Just sign your name with the clerk as a ""deputy"" and you can legally register other people to vote. It's that easy. And to make it easier for students to become deputized, the Vote 2002 Coalition is bringing the city clerk to campus for a mass student deputization this Thursday, Sept. 12 from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. in the ASM office (room 511 of the Memorial Union).
If you can't make it to the deputization but would still like to help out on the Vote 2002 Coalition, please contact me, call Vote 2002 at 265-4276, or visit http://www.buckyvote.com to see how you can help.
