Other races also see results

Tuesday's primary election determined the lineups for a number of statewide and local races outside of the higher profile gubernatorial and congressional races.

In the race for secretary of state, Republican Robert Gerald Lorge took 70 percent of the vote over challenger Walt Nocito. Lorge will now face Democratic incumbent Douglas LaFollette in the Nov. 5 general election.

Incumbent state treasurer Jack Voight, a Democrat, will face Dawn Marie Sass, who defeated Rob Fyrst 69 percent to 31 percent in the GOP primary.
