University officials said residents repeatedly passed in and out of the bathroom, offering assistance to the woman who they believed was only sick.
The pregnancy was unknown to the woman's roommate, and officials said they are unsure if Hubbard herself knew she was pregnant.
Hubbard was a pre-pharmacy student from Withee, Wis., where she graduated a co-valedictorian in 2001.
