Police are seeking help identifying a “suspicious person” after a woman’s screams frightened away an unidentified attacker near campus early Saturday morning.

The 24-year-old woman was walking home shortly before 2 a.m. on the 600 block of North Carroll Street when the suspect ran behind her and grabbed her neck, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
