Breaking the written rules: How always sticking to conventional, proper grammar can hinder expression

One of the characters on the screen says, “Things are gonna turn out a little different,” and I hear one of our congregation automatically correct him: “Differently,” she says. I immediately look up at her and say, “No, it’s not.”
