Women's Soccer: Wisconsin set for rematch against UCLA

After an up-and-down season for the Wisconsin women’s soccer team (5-5-1 Big Ten, 12-7-1 overall), the Badgers claimed an at-large bid in the NCAA tournament Monday night. Wisconsin will take on No.3 seed UCLA (8-2-1 Pac-12, 15-2-2 overall) Saturday night in the first round. Kick off is set for 7:30 p.m. in Los Angeles.

Women's Soccer: Wisconsin drops regular season finale

The Wisconsin women’s soccer team (5-5-1 Big Ten, 12-6-1 overall) arrived in Iowa City Saturday to face off against the Hawkeyes (3-5-3 Big Ten, 12-5-3 overall), looking to continue its five-game winning streak and end the regular season on a positive note. As expected, the match would be an important one for the Badgers, who looked to enter postseason play with momentum and confidence.

Badgers face crucial two-game slate

The Wisconsin women’s soccer team (1-4-1 Big Ten, 8-5-1 overall) will play the first of its last two home games this season on Friday against Northwestern (0-6-0 Big Ten, 4-8-2 overall) at the McClimon Soccer Complex at 7 p.m.

Bielefeld lifts Wisconsin in OT

The No. 13 Wisconsin women’s soccer team (6-1-0 overall) got a late goal in regulation from redshirt sophomore midfielder Kodee Williams and a header from senior midfielder Joana Bielefeld in extra time as the Badgers survived another overtime match, ousting in-state rival University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (1-4-1 overall), 2-1, on the road at Engelmann Field. With the victory, the Badgers improved to 6-1-0 for the first time since 2004.
