The Badger women's hockey team clinched their second consecutive WCHA regular season title Saturday night, defeating the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs 2-1 in overtime on a goal by junior forward Jinelle Zaugg.'

Film not worth seeing, just ‘because’

Films like ""Because I Said So"" are written, acted and shot in a vacuum. In such movies, women are front and center in every frame, the men are only around to cheat on them and to be breeding stock, mother-daughter relationships are everything and men only have parents so that girlfriends can meet them way, way too early in their relationships. Not all of these have proven to be bad, but how can one be asked to identify with characters when their world is so out of touch with the real world?

Doyle clears smoke, improves health-care

Imagine working tirelessly at some thankless minimum-wage job just to scrape together enough money to cover the cost of living. Being broke means taking shortcuts. Not only do you have to forego luxury items such as nice TVs and fancy vacations, but basic needs like yearly doctor visits.
