Women’s crew can’t hold off Minnesota at Lake Wingra

This weekend saw Wisconsin host the women's Big Ten rowing championships on Lake Wingra and the women's lightweight rowing team travel to Indianapolis to face Stanford, Georgetown and Ohio State. Unlike last season, the Badgers had trouble with their conference foes and finished the competition in fifth place.

Plot might as well be ‘invisible’

What began as a half-decent portrayal of upper-middle class white America, soon spiraled into a schmaltzy extravaganza of total blasphemy in ""The Invisible."" This is one of those pseudo-thrillers that indulges so shamelessly in its characters that anybody who has ever seen a movie in their lifetime can literally feel the script as it struggles to produce sensitivity and depth.
