I’m graduating with a lot of debt from a lot of lenders. Not exactly ideal, but I’ve got a job that pays pretty well, so meeting the monthly payments won’t be that stressful.
I love coffee, and I drink a lot of it. I don't think that's a bad thing, at least not for my health or anything (I have a normal heart rate, so I'm not worried that I drink too much), but it has been kind of a drain on my finances.
I don't know how to feel about the way we're all so visible online. I like using social media, but it kind of scares me that having a bad social media post can ruin your career and make you some kind of societal outcast. I know that some of the things that have caused outrage recently are absolutely unacceptable, but it also scares me to imagine that the internet mob might ever go after me. What do experts think of our online lives? How do they suggest we regain our privacy?
My friends and I are thinking about taking a big vacation together this year. The idea is to go on a road trip, most likely around the West — California, maybe Oregon and Washington, places like that.
I’m very much in love with my girlfriend, but there’s one issue that keeps coming between us: we are very, very broke. I’m not too worried about money, but I recognize that we need to be better about it.
I am very interested in nature these days. I love to hike, I love to spend time outside, and I’ve begun to get more interested in environmental issues.
I love technology, and I’m often a big early adopter. However, sometimes, the technology people create just seems silly to me.
I could use some advice. I’m a college senior taking my last semester of classes. Once I finish, I’ll be able to graduate in the fall, just one semester behind the rest of my graduating class.
Americans do have a bit of a reputation for suing each other, and it’s one that’s backed up by at least some of the statistics. But personal injury law is certainly not limited to the United States, say legal experts at law firms Halifax. In Halifax, Nova Scotia — as well as all around Canada and in many other countries besides our own — there are laws designed to protect people who become injured because of someone else’s negligence.
No question about it: burning fossil fuels is not great for the environment. Car exhaust is a major factor in environmental problems, like pollution and global warming. Lucky for us, there’s a great deal we can do to minimize the impact of our driving habits on the globe, even if we don’t want to give up driving altogether!
Our “money story”--the way in which we experience money, often determined by our own personal history with it--can take the form of a “poverty mindset” that keeps us from spending money where we ought to. And, as the old saying goes, “there’s nothing more expensive than being poor” (or, in this case, acting like it): when we lack the funds to protect ourselves and maintain our valuable possessions, or act as if we do, then we expose ourselves to more risks and costlier problems.
I’ve been fascinated with Texas Hold’em for a while. I guess it started with reading about Chris Moneymaker’s incredible story and how he became famous.
I love cars, and I’m pretty handy with them. I have an old car that I’ve been working on since high school, and it runs pretty well, if I may say so myself.
There are plenty of great reasons to spend time outdoors! When we have fun in the sun, we’re doing more than just getting a little exercise or working on our tans. Experts believe that spending time outdoors is actually healthy regardless of whether or not you’re getting exercise.
If you do buy a house you should of course understand what makes real estate valuable. So, let’s address the heart of your question: how does real estate increase in price?
Protecting innocent children should be a top priority, not only for parents but for the public at large. The debate over how to best protect them is now the ongoing controversy, but you can dismantle most arguments into those focused on the people and those focused on the weapons.
Experts, I have some travel advice to ask of you. I love taking vacations, but I’ve never done what I’d consider a true “outdoor vacation.” Sure, I’ve hung out outside on vacation--I’ve been on beach vacations like everyone else--but I never felt like I really experienced nature, outdoor sports, or other staples of those hip, outdoorsy vacations that everyone seems to be taking these days.
Supply and demand are two of the most basic economic forces, and they are in play even in some of the most complex financial situations. Let’s take a step back and try to understand how marketplaces work--from the simplest to the most complex.
Gold has been considered valuable for almost as long as human beings have been on this planet. The reasons for that are simple: there’s only so much gold available, it’s an attractive metal, and it’s easy to shape into jewelry and coins.
