An alleged drunk driver crashed into a taxi on West Dayton Street—injuring a 55-year-old passenger—and drove away early Saturday morning, the Madison Police Department said Monday. Ulices Lopez Guadarrama, 23, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and causing injury, a hit and run involving injury, running a red light and driving without insurance, according to MPD Public Information Officer Joel DeSpain.
