For the past two years, junior outside hitter Brittney Dolgner
has been the most prominent offensive force on the court for the
Wisconsin volleyball team. She led the team in kills and earned
All-Big Ten honors as both a freshman and sophomore. She became the
fastest player in UW history to reach 1,000 kills in a career
Friday night and ranks 17th in school history in that
category.

The giant hogweed, also known as the cartwheel flower or the
giant cow parsnip, is a fascinating plant. It can grow over 15 feet
high, has giant flowers and is resistant to frost. Unfortunately,
giant hogweed also has spiky leaves that, upon being touched,
release pain-inducing sap. As a result, the victim's sap-soaked
skin becomes supersensitive to sunlight and blisters. Due to its
great size, the giant hogweed is difficult to remove from an
environment and crowds out other necessary species of plants.

instantly notified that the kid is a ""Heisman hopeful."" Every
team has one. USC has John David Booty, Arkansas has Darren

The spring exhibition season has passed and fall competition is
months away, yet the UW volleyball team has been busy gearing up
for a summer full of challenges and changes. The squad will be

Metal fans rejoice! The new wave of American heavy metal is in
full effect, and at the helm are Lamb of God. They are coming off
of the hugely successful 2006 release of ""Sacrament"" into an
equally successful multinational tour with metal giants Machine
Head, Trivium and critically-acclaimed French metalmeisters Gojira.
John Campbell plays bass for Lamb of God, and somehow still has his
sense of hearing. The Daily Cardinal caught up with a
geographically disoriented Campbell in a phone interview between
