Premiering at the 2017 SXSW Film Festival, “The Blood is at the Doorstep” follows the pain, fight and activism of a grieving family after an unjustified death among their clan.

As Wisconsin weather slowly gets more and more ridiculous, problems typically reserved for the winter months are becoming prevalent once again for students on their daily commute. Students are being punished by Mother Nature for leaving their parkas and footwear with traction at home, and one student had enough after an unfortunate encounter with the pavement at the University and Charter intersection.

While student protest is an integral and rich part of UW-Madison’s history, some believe protesting has become a routine example of fanatical liberalism on campus. It seems like there is a different protest every day and too many issues to keep track of. The results of the 2016 election cycle have spurred marches for various causes all across the nation, as the Trump presidency continues to provide a limitless stream of controversial policies and scandals.

NEW YORK — The Wisconsin locker room seemed dejected as players entered and drooped down in their black fold-up chairs. UW had just suffered its worst home loss since the Kohl Center was built to Ohio State and little did it know that, just a few hours later on Dec. 3, the football team’s College Football Playoff chances would be slashed at the hands of the very same university they had laid an egg against earlier that day.
