After an overtime loss to Marquette on Saturday, the Badgers will look to bounce back during their three-game homestead this week featuring a pair of in-state rivals. They face Milwaukee on Monday night and Bowling Green on Wednesday night. Tip-off for both games is set for 6:30 p.m. They’ll finish off the week against Green Bay at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Kohl Center.

As the Wisconsin Badgers sit at 2-6 (0-5), there has been little to celebrate during their 2025 season. The Badgers are in the midst of their worst start since 1990, a season in which they finished 1-10, losing their last nine games. Wisconsin has lost their last six games this year, each of them by at least two scores.

Wisconsin’s split results against the Badger Gophers over Halloween weekend, losing Friday but rebounding with a victory Saturday. The team’s tenuous 58-57-16 all-time winning record and 11 month win streak over the Gophers was on the line when No. 1 Wisconsin matched up against No. 3 Minnesota.

After starting the season 2-0, slivers of hope have all but disappeared for the Wisconsin Badgers. There were no grand expectations for the 2025 Badgers, but Wisconsin’s mid-October situation may be worse than expected. Wisconsin, 2-3 (0-2), has lost three straight and will try to turn their season around Saturday against the 3-2 (1-1) Iowa Hawkeyes at 6 p.m. at Camp Randall Stadium.
