Just as James Bond fans are becoming satisfied with Pierce
Brosnan as the charismatic 007, the series hits its 20th film in
the last 40 years with \Die Another Day."" The film walks a thin
line; there are many attempts to hold the essential roots of Bond
together, but the series has taken a decided turn toward modern
action. The result is neither spectacular nor upsetting. If not for
Brosnan's impeccable act as Bond, ""Die Another Day"" would be an
only slightly above average action film.

Anyone who reads The Capital Times, The State Journal, The
Journal Sentinel or that fantastic website, WisPolitics.com, will
read constantly of one scandal or another: the caucuses this, Brian
Burke that; Chuck Chvala this, Scott Jensen that; Gary George, Dan
McMurray; the list goes on and on. Wisconsin, whose political
observers have long admired the state's tradition of clean
government dating back to the reforms of \Fighting Bob"" La
Follette, can only despair at Wisconsin's continued decline into
the ethical dumps. It is important, however, to add a different
perspective: you call this stuff scandal?

\bling-blinged"" this spring break. Well let me tell you'my break
was, as those same kids say, on the hook! Or is it off the hook? If
