On Valentine's Day, many students have plans for romantic dates;
others have plans to bemoan the lack of one. In contrast, the UW
men's track team has plans to demonstrate their love for their
sport. This Friday, the team heads to the Iowa State Classic, where
they hope to put all the pieces in place for a successful run to
the top of the Big Ten.

Another weekend means another pair of wins for the Wisconsin
women's hockey team.??This weekend, similar to last weekend at
Minnesota State, the No. 7 Badgers (9-5-4 WCHA, 16-6-5 overall)
twice defeated the Bemidji State Beavers (5-10-5, 7-13-6).??
Saturday's match resulted in a 5-3 win, with Sunday's contest
ending in a 5-1 victory for the Badgers.

gathered Wednesday on Library Mall to rally for peace to the
Palestinian-Israeli conflict, with part of the crowd voicing
pro-Palestinian opinions and another part expressing pro-Israeli
