Banners designed by UW-Madison doctoral student Molli Pauliot and faculty members Marianne Fairbanks and Stephen Hilyard are meant to represent commitment to "respecting the inherent sovereignty of the Ho-Chunk Nation and the other Native Nations of Wisconsin."
