Gov. Scott Walker will run for a second term in the November 2014 gubernatorial elections. Mary Burke is currently the only Democratic gubernatorial candidate declared for the election. State Sen. Kathleen Vinehout, D-Alma, might announce her gubernatorial candidacy in January.
