UW-Madison to hold open discussion about diversity Tuesday

In response to concerns raised by students, staff and faculty, Chancellor Rebecca Blank and members of the UW-Madison administration have invited the university community to an open discussion Tuesday centered on improving diversity and equity on campus.

Blank, along with Dean of Students Lori Berquam and Interim Vice Provost for Diversity and Climate Patrick Sims, encourage campus members to participate in the discussion in hopes of finding creative innovations and solutions to enhance diversity, according to a video UW-Madison posted to YouTube Thursday.

The discussion will be held in Union South’s Varsity Hall from 3 to 4:30 p.m. It will be free and open to the public.
