Ald. Scott Resnick, District 8, received his first school board endorsement of his campaign Thursday from Madison School Board member Michael Flores, according to a press release.
Resnick said in the release Flores approves of his commitment to working with a wide spectrum of people.
Scott Resnick is a UW-Madison alumnus, two-term Madison City Council member and co-founder of Hardin Design & Development, a local startup company.
“As Mayor, having an open transparent office that works with all types of people would be one of my first priorities,” Resnick said in the release.
Resnick’s campaign addresses climate change through his suggested transportation and environmental policies. Resnick also said he wants to bring in new ideas and work through the upcoming budget deficiencies, according to his campaign website.
“We can grow a 21st century city that makes everyone proud to call Madison home,” Resnick said in the release.
