With the Madison city Spring Elections coming up, the city encourages residents to register before the deadline at 5 p.m. March 12.
The easiest way to register or update voter registration is by visiting any city of Madison library, according to a Madison city news release.
Prospective voters can also submit their applications in person to the City Clerk’s Office, with proof of address from either a Wisconsin license or ID, paycheck or government document, before the end of the business day March 28.
Applications will also be accepted by mail as long as they are postmarked before March 12. First-time Wisconsin voters will be required to include proof of address if registering by mail. Interested voters can visit the Wisconsin voting website to start the registration process.
Voters can also register on election day at the polls with proof of address.
