Local restaurants contribute to cleaner lakes

Local Madison restaurants will be pairing up with The Clean Lakes Alliance (CLA) for the third annual World Water Week, March 21-30, in an effort to raise money for CLA projects.

Participating Restaurants invite guests dining with them to donate $1 for water that is normally free of charge.

Proceeds from the fundraising will go towards CLA projects including an effort to improve water quality in the Yahara River watershed.

The growing list of participating local restaurants include Bassett Street Brunch Club, Buck and Badger, Capital Tap Haus, Dotty Dumpling's Dowry, Francesca’s al Lago, The Spot and many more.

The third annual World Water Week–Madison is envisioned to raise awareness of the importance of water resources to the quality of local life.
