Madison city officials declared a snow emergency for the city of Madison effective until 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Residents are asked to park on the odd house-numbered sides of the street Tuesday night to allow for city officials to plow residential streets. Violations of the parking rules will result in a $60 fine and a $50 towing fee.
City officials also encourage residents to allow extra time for their commutes Tuesday and Wednesday, according to a city release.
More information on snow emergency protocols can be found on the City of Madison’s website.
