Madison police are investigating a residential robbery that took place late Sunday night in which three college-aged males were robbed at gunpoint in their Vilas Avenue apartment, according to a police report.
The report said three men were in their apartment on the 1200 block of Vilas Ave. at approximately 11:13 p.m. when two African American men in their late teens to early twenties entered, according to Madison Police Department Lt. Marianne Flynn Statz.
Upon entry, one suspect pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun and “ordered the victims to the ground,” according to the report. The suspects did not injure the victims but took a variety of electronic devices from the apartment.
