Rate My Professors ranked the University of Wisconsin-Madison No. 5 on a list of universities with the best professors published this week.
Rate My Professors is a website designed for students to review faculty at their university.
The evaluation was based on the overall average professor rating and a school’s overall rating. The website required at least 30 rated professors and a minimum of 30 campus ratings for a university to be considered for the list, the Huffington Post reported Tuesday.
Though there was a high number of larger universities this year, the website said school size did not affect the outcome of the list.
The top five schools on the list were Duke, Vanderbilt, Pennsylvania State University and Stanford, followed by UW-Madison.
