Suspect still at large after robbery at Kelley's Market on West Washington

Kelley's Market on West Washington Avenue was robbed for money and cigarettes early Sunday morning, according to Madison Police.

The man entered the market at 636 W. Washington Ave. around 4:44 a.m., Madison Police Department spokesperson Sherrie Strand said.

The suspect went right to the clerk at the counter of the market, police said.

Police said the suspect revealed a knife to the clerk at the counter. The suspect then asked the clerk for money and cigarettes.

The suspect left the market on foot, police said.

The suspect is said to be in his 30s, around 5'8'' with a medium build. Police said at the time of the robbery he was wearing a camouflage ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt with hood up and thick, black gloves.
