Madison police arrested two men on first-degree sexual assault charges Tuesday night.
The sexual assault charges were in connection with an assault that occurred earlier that day.
Odin Alejandro Robledo-Hernandez, 34, and Jose Luis Bedolla-Calderon, 22, were taken into custody by Madison police.
The victim was a 23-year-old Minneapolis woman who was visiting friends in Madison. The woman told Madison police that sometime after 2 a.m. she pulled into an apartment building on the 400 block of Dayton Street according to the Capital Times.
The victim told police the suspects choked her and sexually assaulted her inside the apartment building. After being attacked the victim was able to get away.
According to the police report, the victim was able to provide good descriptions of the suspects to the police and led them to the apartment building where the assault occurred.
Robledo-Hernandez lives in the apartment building on Dayton where the crime took place.
