Woman robbed, maced on Langdon Street

A strong-armed robbery on the 100 block of Langdon Street occurred Friday at approximately 2:40 a.m. and resulted in a woman's purse being stolen.

According to the police report, a woman walking home alone was unlocking her front door when a black man grabbed her purse and sprayed her with pepper spray when she struggled.

The man then fled the scene, entered a white car and headed east on Langdon Street. The suspect is described as being 200 pounds and wearing a black baseball hat, white shirt and blue jeans.
