Shots fired downtown; no injuries, arrests

Shots were fired on the 100 block of South Bedford Street early Monday morning during an altercation between two men.

According to a police report, the victim was driving down Bedford and stopped his car when he saw a man standing in the road. He exited his car and got into a verbal confrontation with the suspect.

The man in the road pulled out a handgun, and the driver ran away. The suspect fired two shots toward the victim as he ran.

It was later determined that the passenger of the car drove away and the suspect left the scene with another man in a green car.

The suspects are described as white males, one with curly hair and the other as thin, bald and wearing a black leather jacket.

There were no arrests made, and the incident is still under investigation.
