A 15-year-old Madison girl was allegedly enticed in a possible attempted kidnapping by a Madison man Thursday afternoon.
According to the police report, the teenager was walking near East Washington Avenue and Gorham Street around 1 p.m. when a black man in his early thirties rolled down the window of his car to start a conversation with her.
She reported that as she kept walking, the man said, ""Come here, come closer … I'm trying to be your friend."" The girl continued walking and later notified an adult of the incident.
According to the report, the suspect was wearing a white t-shirt and a gold chain and driving a dark blue SUV with tinted windows and a roof rack.
