A Madison man is in custody after an early morning shooting Saturday injured two men on South Park Street, police said.
Police responded to a call around 2:12 a.m. Saturday reporting a person was shot near the 400 block of South Park Street, according to a police report.
Police found the first victim, a male with a gunshot wound to the leg, at a local hospital. His injury was not life threatening and he was treated and released from the hospital.
Detectives located a second male victim with a minor bullet wound to the leg. He did not seek medical attention.
Police arrested 21-year-old Dontae Collins for the shootings. He is currently being held at the Dane County Jail and tentatively charged with two counts of First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.
