Madison police reported a stabbing occurred on the 1300 block of Northport Drive late Sunday night.
According to police, a Madison male, 17, was mugged near the Dane County Regional Airport.
The victim reportedly suffered lacerations to his arm as a result of the attack but was able to escape and alert authorities. Police said the young man was treated for injuries sustained in the mugging and none are life threatening.
Police describe the suspects as a black male with slender build, approximately 19 years old and a black female also with a slender build, about 15 years old. The male suspect was wearing all dark clothing, and the female was wearing an orange jacket, according to a statement by police. At this time, the case remains open.
