Whether UW-Madison students are spending Valentine's Day on Wednesday with potential crushes or long-time squeezes, UW-Madison's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America has a gift that will make significant others positively ""bubble over.""
The PRSSA will be selling cans of Crush soda today and Wednesday for $2 in Grainger Hall. For $5 to $7 more, students can purchase ""insurance"" on the can to remain anonymous and give clues to crushes about their identities, in the forms of initials, phone numbers or notes.
""We are offering Crush cans in three colors,"" said PRSSA Fundraising Director Allison Ballweber, in a release. ""Orange meaning crush, red meaning love and purple meaning friend.""
Today and Wednesday, PRSSA members will drive around campus to deliver cans to ""crushees"" at the addresses ""crushers"" specify. ""Crushees"" who pay the same amount of money paid by ""crushers"" will be given the ""crushers'"" clues or identities.
PRSSA members will be selling the cans from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today and 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Grainger Hall Atrium.
