The bass was not thumping for long at a house party on the 2600 block of North Ct. last weekend after two Madison Police officers arrived at 2:50 a.m. Sunday.
Two squad cars responded to loud noise and vibrating windows at the house, which police noted had an ongoing problem of hosting underage house parties.
Officers knocked on the door and eventually a female answered, saw it was the police, and immediately closed the door, announcing the police had arrived.
Jason Eisele, 20, then came to the door and did not let the officers in, but was willing to converse with them through the approximately 12-inch door opening. During the conversation, Eisele continuously ashed his cigarette through the door near the officers. When the police had probable cause for arrest, officers grabbed Eisele's arm as he ashed his cigarette.
Eisele resisted, along with the help of friend, Anthony Bormett, 20. As officers restrained the actively resisting suspects, a German shepherd entered the area from within the house and bit an officer in the knee area.
More officers arrived on scene and quelled the scuffle. Eisele and Bormett were transported to Dane County Jail. The other underage partiers were cited for underage alcohol consumption.
