Intramural teams and group fitness enthusiasts may see increases in their semester-long fees for the 2007-'08 school year.
UW-Madison's Division of Recreational Sports presented its proposed operating budget to Associated Students of Madison's Student Services Finance Committee Monday in Memorial Union, with most major increases being in faculty/staff membership fees and rec sports fees.
Director of Recreational Sports Dale Carruthers said faculty/staff membership fees would increase from $124 to $160 annually, intramural team sport fees would increase from $60 to $70 a team, and group fitness passes would increase from $10 to $15 for students and from $15 to $20 for faculty and staff.
SSFC will decide the Rec Sports budget Thursday in Memorial Union.
