Fall registration is upon us and this junior working toward a self-designed visual culture studies major is busy sifting and winnowing through the timetable like a Choose Your Own Adventure book: art, history, communication and critical Internet studies. Yes, surfing the web can be homework—as long as you are analyzing the cultural implications of Facebook. 

 

Well, professor, the high-efficiency beer-delivery device—referred to as a beer bong in the local vernacular—is indicative of a cultural need for mass amounts of beer in as short a time as possible.
