The Skinny: For V-Day, a worldwide event that raises money and awareness about violence against women and children, Eve Ensler's 'The Vagina Monologues' is a play based upon interviews with over 200 women about their various vagina-related stories. At turns hilarious, disturbing and informative, the Vagina Monologues is a play that has been justly celebrated for the past ten years.

Think you understand the evils in today's international political situation enough that you could single-handedly deny Robert Ludlum, John le Carr?? and Tom Clancy their evil-politics-exploiting livelihood if only you were in charge? Try your hand at running the world in this role-playing game.

Where: The Rathskeller, Memorial Union

When: Saturday, 9:30 p.m.

How much: Free

The Skinny: Supporting their recently released debut, Future Women, the Illinois-based M's combine sixties' garage rock glory with the tunefulness of indie pop, throwing in flourishes of T. Rex and Nuggets-era psychedelia to boot.

What: The Living Blue in concert

Where: Tornado Club's Corral Room

When: Saturday, 10 p.m.

The Skinny: Champaign's The Living Blue used to be called The Blackouts, and under that name they earned accolades from a talent contest sponsored by the E Street Band's Steven Van Zandt. Come see their brand of acid-drenched garage rock. The opening bands are Cracked Badger and the Cutouts.
