Retro Red beer calls on drinkers to recall the good ol' days when children dragged red wagons everywhere and peace and love reigned supreme. The label shows a pure Norman Rockwell scene ' a red wagon ' pained in the style of Monet. The beer itself is full of similar contradictions. A lightly bitter initial flavor gives way to a sweeter taste, which continues into the aftertaste. Brewed in Fort Collins, CO, Retro Red, a 'Classic Ruby Red Ale,' loses its bitter flavor when it warms ??- much like the last days of summer are both bitter and sweet.
