Signed Letters of Intent announced by three teams

Teams that signed new athletes: 

 

 

 

Men's and Women's Swimming 

 

 

 

Head coach Eric Hansen announced seven future Badger swimmers, three female and four male. The group combines for six state titles, two junior national titles and four finishes at the junior national finals. The women's group includes Samantha Edwards, Gabrielle Maddalena and Jenny Hawkins. The men's team welcomes Fitchburg native Dan Koenig, McFarland graduate Derrick O'Donnell, Phil Davies and Jeff Wurm.

Women's Hockey 

 

 

 

Head coach Mark Johnson has announced the addition of four players during the early signing period. Forwards Meghan Duggan, Waukesha's Emily Kranz, Kyla Sanders and goaltender Alannah McCready will join UW's squad beginning in the 2006-'07 school year. McCready played in 67 games in three years at Centennial High School with 12 career shutouts and 1,541 saves. Sanders was named offensive player of the year at the North American Hockey Academy with 34 goals and 32 assists. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Men's Cross Country 

 

 

 

Head coach Jerry Schumacher announced the signing of three runners to Letters of Intent yesterday. They include John Bolas Craig Miller and Noah Shannon. Bolas was the 2005 North Carolina state 4A cross country champion. Miller broke the course record at the Gettysburg Invitational, which is also the fastest 5,000-meter cross country time in Pennsylvania state history.
